A principal promoter of dance, music and culture in the Asian region. He is an innovative choreographer and a noted
Entertainment Professional with a creative mind and a sound business accumen. Lourd has traveled to the US, Canada, UK, France, Israel, Egypt, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Taiwan, Sri Lanka & UAE to perform and to teach at
Various dance productions & festivals. With this global experience, he brings the latest in style and concepts to the events that he stages in India.

Closely associated with the Indian Society for Performers and Teachers of Dance and the India Salsa club he has
focused on popularizing Salsa in cities like Bangalore, Mysore, Hyderabad, Cochin, Chennai, Delhi, Pondicherry,
Auroville, Colombo, Bangkok, Kathmandu, Indore and other cities.

He is the organizer of the India International Salsa Congress, the Delhi Salsa Festival, the India Dance Awards, the Goa Salsa Festival, Festival De Bachata Y Reggaeton, the Winter Dance Festival and the Chennai Salsa Festival.

He has fond memories of choreographing and working in many theatre productions and Bollywood Productions including the Jackie Chan starrer 'The Myth".

Lourd Vijay is currently devoting his considerable energies towards the success of his newly launched label Wear2dance - a ready to wear collection that brings you clothes that are not just appropriate to dance in,
but extremely comfortable as well.

He is also setting up a performing arts hub and arena in India, networking and building a database of Performing artists from across the country be it classical, folkloric or tribal, in order to promote both up coming as well as established artists.
